Field Service Engineer - Telecommunications

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and hosted phones. Your role includes managing and maintaining circuits and nodes, performing turn-ups, testing, and troubleshooting. You will also handle customer equipment, including Ethernet Network Interface Devices, IADs, and ONTs.

Responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting for transport, switching, and IP/Data networks.
• On-call emergency support and collaborate effectively with internal and external customers, service technicians, and other telecom professionals.

Skills/Must have:

• Knowledge/Experience in Telecoms 
• Fiber Optics Experience 
• Cisco/Ciena Routing and Switching

Salary: 

• $30-$40 per hour with overtime potential
