The team is hiring 2x Days Engineers to oversee daily data centre operations, perform maintenance activities, and support infrastructure monitoring. The roles will focus on ensuring optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, and network systems within a secure and controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on operation and maintenance of critical systems in a 9-5, Monday to Friday environment.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure (UPS, batteries, switchgear, LV/MV distribution).
• Carry out both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure operational resilience.
• Respond to incidents quickly and independently, escalating when required.
• Support mechanical systems and building services (cooling, HVAC, BMS).
• Keep detailed logs, records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programmes.

Skills / Must have:

• Electrical bias with relevant City & Guilds qualifications (installations acceptable).
• Minimum BS7671 18th Edition certification.
• Strong ability to work independently and with the right attitude to problem-solving.
• Mechanical bias and/or experience with building services.
• Knowledge of BMS or network systems.
• Broad skill set across controls and critical facilities.
• Experience working in critical environments (data centres, hospitals, airports, water treatment, etc.).

Salary:

• 45-55k +6k oncall, with overtime rates at 1.5x (Mon–Sat) and 2x (Sundays).
