A fast-growing Build Partner are looking for Access Control Engineers to come & join their ever-growing team.
The Access Control Engineer will be tasked with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting door access control systems. This position requires a solid understanding of electronic security systems and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Additionally, the role will involve other installation duties for the company, including, but not limited to, the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, etc).

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage door access control systems, including hardware and software elements.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues related to access control systems.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide customized solutions.
- Ensure all installations and maintenance activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide clients with training and ongoing support on the operation of access control systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of installations, maintenance tasks, and repairs.
Skills/Must have:
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining door access control systems.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic security systems, including key card access, biometric systems, and intercom systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with Verkada security systems is a plus.
