Responsibilities:

• Customer-focused and committed to collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
• Designs, implements and manages networks focusing on wired/wireless data network operations, network architecture, installation and repair, voice and video, outside plant management, and telecom planning. I
• Includes Data Center Operations, Audio Visual Design and Installation, Media Event Services and Classroom Support which provides services for the UCSD campus, Scripps Institute of Oceanography and medical facilities.

Skills/Must have:

• Strong knowledge of AV IT design and field implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to create AV flow diagrams, schematics and AV infrastructure drawings. Demonstrated skill and experience in creating AV system line drawings and creating design documentation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes and regulations and ability to provide technical advice based on sound understanding of AV principles and practice.
