Bauleiter (m/f/d) - Telecommunications

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fibre Construction Manager to join a high-performing team within the telecommunications sector in Hamburg. 

This role involves managing small, focused teams (4-5 members) to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of complex fibre-optic networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in fibre construction, substantial project management experience and eager to expand your knowledge and grow into more senior positions. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a small team of 4-5 engineers ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
• Oversee all aspects of fibre construction projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
• Apply deep knowledge of fibre-optic technology to manage the installation, splicing, and testing of fibre networks. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure zero defects in network deployment.
• Ensure that all work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Skills/Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fibre-optic network construction, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of fibre-optic technology.
• Fluency in German is essential.
