The team is now hiring a Cabling Engineer to lead structured cabling installations on major AV/IT deployments across UK and EU sites. The role demands strong hands-on experience with copper and fibre terminations, alongside the capability to manage subcontractors and small teams on the ground.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, termination, and certification of structured cabling systems (Cat/Fibre)
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Ensure timely delivery of equipment, tools, and consumables to project sites
- Manage day-to-day infrastructure operations for assigned projects
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and engineers on site
- Liaise with internal project teams, site contractors, and occasionally clients
- Maintain quality standards and safety practices on all infrastructure works
- Update project teams with accurate on-site progress and documentation
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (copper and fibre)
- Hands-on experience with termination and certification tools (e.g., Fluke testers, LinkWare Live)
- Ability to manage complex installations and on-site teams independently
- Experience leading infrastructure components of multi-phase projects
- Excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Commitment to health & safety and best installation practices
- Willingness to travel frequently (within the UK and EU)
