Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management and optimization of the VMware/Windows infrastructure, ensuring stability and scalability.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to resolve field-escalated issues, addressing server and application concerns efficiently.
  • Analyze trends in client and infrastructure issues, spearheading creative, automated, and efficient solutions to improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams on complex projects, from initial assessment and scoping to implementation, acceptance testing, and ongoing optimization.
  • Mentor and guide the IT team in developing and deploying integrated systems and solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee the documentation and enhancement of in-depth knowledge regarding the company's infrastructure solutions and technology portfolio.
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce infrastructure technology standards and policies.
  • Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and infrastructure agility.
  • Supervise the maintenance and updates of infrastructure equipment and dependencies, including monthly updates, software upgrades, testing, and problem resolution.


Experience & Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in IT people management
  • Track record of hiring and retaining top performing employees
  • 5+ years experience in VMware infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • 5+ years experience in Windows Systems architecture, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge and proven experience in at least one of the following areas: Active Directory, Azure, VMware, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Servers
