CMDB Assistant – Fixed-Term Contract (Until December 2025) - Consultancy

An excellent opportunity has arisen to support a large-scale CMDB programme as a CMDB Assistant. You’ll collaborate closely with the CMDB Manager to implement and enhance data quality, develop dashboards, and optimise ITOM Discovery processes. Gain hands-on experience across ITSM, audit support, and service visibility, contributing to one of the most critical data environments in the business. This full-time role runs until 31 December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of CMDB policies and processes, ensuring continuous improvement
• Maintain and enhance ITOM Discovery to ensure accurate infrastructure visibility
• Identify, analyse, and correct CMDB data issues, providing clean and traceable data for internal stakeholders
• Design dashboards tailored to IT operations, business units, and audit teams
• Align the CMDB with key ITSM processes such as Incident and Change Management
• Assist with audits by ensuring data compliance, consistency, and traceability

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) environments with a foundational understanding of infrastructure components
• Knowledge of CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, including familiarity with ITOM Discovery
• Proven experience in managing data quality and executing remediation activities
• Strong skills in creating dashboards using tools like Performance Analytics, Power BI, etc.
• Proficient in documentation and clear, effective communication
• Fluency in English is required
