Commissioning & Testing Specialist

We are hiring a senior technical expert to join a fast-growing data center infrastructure services company expanding across the APAC region. 

 With an established presence in EU and USA, this is the first key, strategic technical hire for the APAC region. Take ownership of technical solution design during the pre-sales phase, as well as post-care after-sales services, maximising customer experience and satisfaction. 

 This key hire will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of commissioning services, acting as a bridge between technical operations and client engagement.

The ideal candidate will come from a vendor or retail background, specialising in HVAC within data center / critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical solution design during pre-sales activities.
• Conduct technical workshops and consultations with clients.
• Provide on-site after-sales technical support and crisis resolution.
• Support internal teams during commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, marketing, and R&D to ensure aligned service delivery.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
• Contribute to competitive intelligence and market insights.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 5+ years in data center commissioning/technical PM role 
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and HVAC in data center environments.
• Confident communicator with excellent client-facing presence.
• Capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
• Hands-on and field-oriented approach to project delivery.
• Proficient with software and hardware tools relevant to load bank and commissioning equipment.
• Fluent English (other languages are a benefit: Malay, Chinese, French, German)

Salary:

• 400,000-500,000 MYR full package - DOE
• Malaysian Ringgit
