As a Construction Technician 3, you'll be the backbone of our construction projects, both above and below ground. Your hands-on approach will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the fiber and copper facilities. From installations to evaluations and repairs, you'll be instrumental in delivering uninterrupted service to valued clients.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual labor tasks for construction projects, including equipment installation and removal.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to streamline workflows and enhance project efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and timely paperwork, including Daily Progress Reports and Safety Tailboards.
• Provide comprehensive documentation, including precise as-built prints and photographs for project closeouts.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles, job sites, and equipment inventory.
• Safely operate various vehicles and equipment, including bucket trucks and trenchers.
• Perform tasks such as tree trimming, brush clearing, and excavation as needed.
• Interpret work prints accurately for the placement of cables and conduits.
• Uphold safety protocols and incident reporting procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, exhibiting leadership when necessary.
• Lead crews in the absence of a project manager, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
• Mentor less experienced employees, fostering a culture of growth and development.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients and the public, representing the company positively.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL-A license with the ability to maintain a CDL medical card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• 3-5 years of prior construction experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
