An excellent opportunity to join an established data center provider in the heart of Frankfurt. As the campus continues to expand, the team is looking to add a Critical Facilities Engineer with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure and architecture.

This role is ideally suited to someone with a solid understanding of critical facility operations and a particular passion for electrical systems. While well-rounded knowledge of data center infrastructure is valuable, expertise in electrical maintenance and design is key.

You will be responsible for performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical systems across the site. This includes documenting readings, managing switchovers, and ensuring all activity complies with industry and safety standards. With your understanding of building automation systems (BMS), you'll also work to optimise and automate electrical monitoring processes where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative and corrective maintenance of LV and MV electrical systems
  • Troubleshooting of electrical faults and power interruptions
  • Automation and monitoring integration within the BMS
  • Switchgear, relay, and breaker testing and troubleshooting
  • Documentation and compliance auditing
  • Coordination of external electrical contractors and vendors

Skills/Must have:

  • Training & experience as an electrical technician
  • Knowledge of critical facilities infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs)
  • Experience with electrical automation and BMS systems
  • Fluent German speaker
