We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cyber Security Solutions Architect to design and implement robust security architectures across enterprise systems. This role requires a strong technical background, strategic mindset, and the ability to work across departments to ensure security best practices are embedded in all aspects of IT infrastructure and application development. Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Architecture:
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level cybersecurity architecture and roadmap.
- Design secure solutions for on-premises, cloud, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Define and document security principles, reference architectures, and best practices.
- Advisory & Collaboration:
- Partner with IT, DevOps, engineering, and business stakeholders to align security architecture with business goals.
- Provide architectural guidance during the solution design phase to ensure secure-by-design principles are followed.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to support governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) efforts.
- Technology & Integration
- Lead the integration of security tools and platforms, including SIEM, EDR, IAM, CASB, DLP, firewalls, and vulnerability management systems.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and contribute to tool selection and vendor assessments.
- Ensure secure integration between third-party applications, APIs, and internal systems.
- Risk & Compliance
- Support enterprise risk assessments and security gap analyses.
- Ensure solutions comply with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and relevant regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Participate in internal and external security audits and remediation efforts.
- Incident Response & Resilience
- Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response processes and disaster recovery planning.
- Advise on security logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies for early threat detection and response.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in a security architecture or engineering leadership role.
- Deep understanding of network, cloud, and application security.
- Experience designing and implementing security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, encryption, PKI, firewalls, and secure software development practices.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SABSA, or AWS/Azure Security certifications.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, DevSecOps, and threat modelling frameworks.
Salary:
- $125,000 plus commission
