They are now seeking a skilled Data Center Engineer to join their team, supporting critical infrastructure projects and helping deliver tailored IT solutions across these dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform server racking/stacking, cable patching, and hardware installations per deployment plans.
  • Execute network infrastructure adjustments including patch panel modifications and fiber/copper cable runs.
  • Maintain meticulous cable management and labeling standards.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure facility cleanliness and proper equipment operation.
  • Assist vendors with maintenance activities and hardware deployments.
  • Perform basic Linux/Windows server administration: user management, log monitoring, patch verification.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on data center related initiatives and cross-functional projects to support organizational objectives.

Skills/Must have:

  • Familiarity with server architectures (Dell/HPE), network topologies and storage solutions.
  • VMware vSphere and Cloud Platform experience.
  • Intermediate Windows and Linux administration skills.
  • Physical capability to lift and manoeuvre objects weighing up to 80 lbs.
  • Scripting and automation knowledge a plus.
