We are now seeking an experienced Datacenter Technician to join them and to support the rollout and maintenance of passive network infrastructure within hyperscale data centers across the Rhine-Main region and beyond. This role is focused on high-performance fiber splicing, structured cabling, and rack integration in mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities:
- Splicing & Testing: Perform high-density and ribbon splicing (144–3456 fibers) using state-of-the-art equipment. Conduct OTDR and attenuation measurements to ensure network performance.
- Structured Cabling: Install and document primary, secondary, and tertiary cabling (fiber and copper) in data centers, including patching, labeling, and routing.
- Rack & Stack: Assemble and cable data racks and ODFs. Support the installation and replacement of active components such as switches and servers.
- Network Support: Diagnose and resolve faults in fiber and copper cabling. Perform functional tests and work with quality teams to maintain high standards.
Skills/Must have:
- Technical training in electrical/communications engineering or solid experience in passive datacenter infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of fiber splicing, ribbon splicing (preferred), and structured cabling best practices.
- Confident with testing tools (OTDR, loss measurement) and creating acceptance documentation.
- Reliable, structured, and self-motivated with strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
- Fluent German & English.
- Valid Class B driving license and flexibility to travel regionally. Physically fit for on-site work (e.g., ladders, 20kg loads).
