Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary engineering teams across the full product lifecycle.
  • Manage project plans, resources and delivery timelines to ensure successful execution.
  • Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, reliability and performance.
  • Recruit, mentor and develop engineering talent, including senior engineers.
  • Act as a bridge between the R&D team and wider business, aligning efforts with product and architectural strategy.
  • Continuously improve workflows, methodologies, and tools to optimise team performance.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing, professional growth and adoption of new technologies


Skills/Must have:

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing mid-sized engineering teams with direct reports.
  • Proven track record in software development and delivery, with hands-on experience in agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and accountability.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Valid work permit for the Netherlands (visa sponsorship not available).
