Responsibilities:
- Support the Foreman in ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and meet customer quality standards
- Operate company vehicles daily to transport materials, cable reels, steel plates, tools, and equipment
- Assist with the delivery and pickup of job site supplies and construction assets
- Work alongside field crews to install manholes, vaults, and perform other utility construction tasks as needed
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support successful project completion
Requirements:
- Over 3 years of experience safely and efficiently operating equipment used in utility construction, including but not limited to: directional drills, trenchers, backhoes, skid steers, bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, cranes, and crane trucks
- Knowledgeable about DOT regulations related to enforcement and compliance
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions
- Solid understanding of utility construction methods and installation practices
- A valid CDL-A license is highly preferred
