Fibre Trainer - Telecommunications

Are you looking to join one of the UK's top provider for accredited training in the cabling industry. They're experiencing rapid growth in the communications cabling sector. As a result of this increase in demand for our services, they're seeking talented, self-motivated communications cabling trainers who are actively pursuing new freelance training opportunities.

You will be delivering training on to the highest possible standard; this is essentially both to our public scheduled and also, where necessary, to a number of bespoke courses. Most of these courses are in both data communications cabling and fibre optic cabling. You must be proficient in the delivery of this training at all levels – including advanced. It would be a significant advantage to be able to deliver training in related applications, e.g., network design and planning, data centre operation and management, CD/PMD testing.

Responsibilities: 

• To achieve the very highest quality training as set out by Total Comms Training and its associated accreditations.
• To assist in the development of related training courses and other delivery mechanisms. We would also anticipate that trainers maintain an up-to-date skill set through personal development and accreditation activities
• To work with clients to create courses and courseware for their internal bespoke training
• To support Sales and other internal departments with specialist advice and support on an ad-hoc basis

Skills/Must have:

• Fibre/Networking/Electrical Engineering Experience 
• 10/15 years plus in the Telecommunications Industry 
• Leadership/Coaching Experience
