The team is hiring a Firewall Engineer to design, configure, and manage next-generation firewall solutions across complex network environments. The role will focus on ensuring robust perimeter security, optimising performance, and supporting continuous improvement of security infrastructures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and deploy firewall solutions (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Implement and optimize SD-WAN and Zero Trust network solutions.
• Lead and mentor network security engineers, ensuring best practice standards.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents, optimize performance, and ensure compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, DORA).
• Collaborate with SOC, Security, and Enterprise Network teams to integrate solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation and contribute to ongoing research and innovation.

Skills/Must have:

• 10–15 years in network/security engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Exposure to Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, IPsec, BGP, OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, Zero Trust, NGFW features.
• Automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash).
• Fortinet certifications: FCP (NSE4/5) / FCSS (NSE6/7).
• Fluent English, customer-focused mindset, ability to work onsite in The Hague (3 days).
