Google Cloud Engineer - System Integrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, setup, and configuration of a new GCP environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy, project requirements, and technical goals.
• Design and implement foundational GCP services (e.g., Identity and Access Management, networking, billing, security, monitoring).
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation for deployment.
• Migrate workloads and data from on-premise or other cloud platforms to GCP.
• Develop security policies and best practices for access control, data protection, and compliance.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and training materials for internal teams.
• Provide guidance on cost optimization, scalability, and high availability within GCP.
• Support knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal IT/engineering teams

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience standing up GCP environments from scratch in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of core GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, etc.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform preferred).
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., GKE, Docker) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Cloud Build, Jenkins).
