Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of datacenter infrastructure projects, from site selection to go-live
- Set and enforce design standards for electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems across all regions
- Oversee third-party design firms, contractors, and engineering partners to ensure compliance with specifications, timelines, and budgets
- Provide hands-on technical leadership on systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, and advanced cooling (air/liquid)
- Collaborate with internal teams across operations, procurement, IT, and sustainability to align infrastructure with business strategy
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and global best practices
- Drive the CAPEX budgeting and forecasting process for construction projects
- Monitor construction milestones, troubleshoot challenges, and implement design/process improvements
Skills/Must Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field
- 10+ years of datacenter design and build experience, including 5+ in a senior leadership role
- Strong background in critical infrastructure systems: electrical, mechanical, and cooling
- Familiarity with Tier I–IV datacenter design standards
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, complex datacenter builds
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel both regionally and internationally as needed
Preferred Certifications (Bonus):
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE)
- Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD)
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
