The team is hiring an HPC Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and optimise high-performance computing environments supporting large-scale quantitative workloads. The role will focus on ensuring efficiency, scalability, and reliability while contributing to continuous infrastructure innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, install, and maintain datacentre hardware, including servers, switches, and structured cabling.
  • Provide hands-on support for racking, diagnostics, and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries, maintenance, support, warranties, and fault resolution.
  • Manage inventory and logistics, including navigating international shipping and supply chain challenges.
  • Support large-scale deployments (e.g., 1,000+ servers).
  • Contribute to network design by selecting, specifying, or customizing equipment to meet performance and feature requirements.


Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in datacentre operations and HPC infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed networking, transceivers, cabling standards, and network hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with server architecture and components (NICs, PCIe cards, SSDs, GPUs, FPGAs).
  • Familiarity with Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) infrastructure is a plus.
  • Experience navigating international shipping and supply chain logistics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and excellent interpersonal skills.
