As a member of the Platform Infrastructure Team, you will support the successful provision, maintenance, and evolution of an SaaS Platform, primarily in the US, but also in the EU and other territories. Your role involves stakeholder management and effective communication with colleagues and vendors, utilizing your collaboration and prioritization skills across time zones and remote communication channels. You'll proactively identify and address complex enterprise system hardware and software issues, ensuring an excellent customer experience by working closely with the Product Development and Technical Support teams.

You will manage the administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of physical and virtual server infrastructure, hosting enterprise applications across local and remote data centers. This includes responsibility for platform architecture, security, compliance, and software services to deliver the in-house developed SaaS Platform in line with customer SLAs and KPIs. Efficient and suitable automation (using PowerShell, Python, Bash) will be a key part of your role to reduce routine tasks and maintenance.


Responsibilities:

  • Provision and maintain secure physical and virtual infrastructure, including web, application, and database servers, as well as network appliances and protocols.
  • Administer firewall management and network troubleshooting.
  • Work both individually and in cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

  1. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application operations and support.
  2. Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity best practices, including intrusion detection, firewalls, antivirus software, patch, and vulnerability management.
  3. Proficient in MS SQL Server operating system and database administration, query writing, and performance tuning.
  4. Experience with monitoring tools and proactive issue resolution to maintain system uptime.
  5. Practical experience with virtualization products, notably VMWare and Hyper-V.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and technical creativity.
  7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey vision to management, peers, and business partners in a hybrid organization.

Preferred:

  • Strong experience with Directory Service stack (Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, GPO, AD Federation, SAML, ADFS, Multi-Factor, Azure AD connect).
  • Knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies, data backup, disaster recovery planning, and data retention policies.
  • Experience in scalable web applications based on ASP.NET.

Salary:

Up to $30 per hour - 6-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire.
