Join an EU-based Colocation provider that is taking over the European market.
You will be a senior member of the team developing internal processes to optimise escalations and DC maintenance projects! also, heavily involved in the acquisition of new DCs.
Responsibilities:
Operations Standards
• Implement an EMEA maintenance process/program and review process.
• Define maintenance standards and develop a condition-based maintenance program.
• Implement an EMEA incident, change, and escalation management process.
• Establish a root cause review and action items for resolution.
• Identify problems and risks associated with site operations.
• Use data to mitigate, remediate, and avoid impacting incidents.
Data Center Design
• Support the construction design team on operational identified problems to drive related design changes.
• Advise the local operations team on the operational impact of changes and specifications based on identified problems.
Sales & Customer Fit-Out
• Inform the sales and SE team on customer-impacting major change activities.
• Support customer questions or RFI/RFP answers specific to maintenance, change, and problem management.
Systems and Systems Support
• Develop knowledge of and learn business systems (e.g., Itop, BMS) within nLighten to assist the site team in ensuring required assets are captured and properly mapped between systems.
• Drive automation for maintenance, change, and problem management.
Documentation
• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly documented and tickets are created.
• Identify missing system functionality and drive tool enhancements to solve it.
• Be part of the development of an audit-ready documentation management system.
Training
• Develop an EMEA maintenance training plan together with local OPS leads.
• Develop trainings for new technology of data center facilities.
Skills/Must have:
Engineering power/controls background (certified Engineer preferred)
LV, MV Systems and Cooling plant
Previous experience within the workings of a data center would be an advantage
Working in cross functional Groups
Good English skills
Additional language skills would also be advantageous
Benefits:
10% bonus
Salary:
€120,000 gross per year (Maximum)
