As an IT Architect, you will take on a key role in designing and deploying advanced network, virtualisation, and cloud-based storage systems for a leading French airline. 

Based in Toulouse, you will be responsible for shaping the airline's IT infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, security, and alignment with industry best practices. This 12-month mission offers a unique opportunity to influence the technological backbone of a major player in the aviation industry. Fluency in both French and English is essential, as you will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. While on-site presence is required 3-4 days per week, more frequent availability is highly encouraged.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex IT architectures, focusing on networks, virtualization technologies, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Collaborate with the airline’s IT and operations teams to understand technical needs and translate them into scalable, secure systems aligned with business objectives.
  • Draft detailed technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Guide the implementation process and ensure seamless integration of new technologies into the existing IT landscape.
  • Provide expert guidance to ensure systems are robust, resilient, and future-proof.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.

Skills/Must Have:

  • Proficiency in designing and deploying network infrastructure solutions, as well as virtualisation platforms and cloud storage systems.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, virtualisation technologies (such as VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Experience in cloud migration and storage optimisation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French and English is required, along with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to work efficiently both independently and within teams.
