Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration and management of Azure and AWS cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components, while ensuring performance and availability.
  • Support the implementation of basic security practices for Azure and AWS, including identity management, access control, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Azure and AWS environments, under the guidance of senior team members, to maintain connectivity and security across platforms.
  • Assist with networking tasks in Azure and AWS, including virtual networks, VPNs, and security groups, learning best practices from more experienced administrators.
  • Provide basic support for Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps, under the guidance of senior administrators.
  • Use ConnectWise ticketing system to assist with tracking, managing, and resolving service requests, learning how to prioritize and escalate incidents.
  • Provide support for Linux systems, including basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks with guidance.
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and create simple reports on performance and security metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and deliver cloud solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Receive mentorship and training from more senior team members, helping you grow in cloud infrastructure management and system administration.


Skills/Must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud environments, with an understanding of managing cloud resources, networking, and security.
  • Basic experience with Citrix administration (XenApp, XenDesktop, Virtual Apps & Desktops) is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ConnectWise is helpful, but we are open to training.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux systems and an eagerness to learn more about troubleshooting and system configuration.
  • Some experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, AWS CLI, Azure CLI) is a plus, but we will provide training to expand your skill set.
  • Interest in obtaining relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with a desire to learn and grow in troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with others on technical issues.
  • A positive, proactive attitude, with a strong desire to develop your career in cloud infrastructure and system administration.
