Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless devices.
  • Support network security efforts, including basic configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls and security devices.
  • Assist in the design, deployment, and support of wireless networks using Aruba and Meraki technologies.
  • Help manage Azure Cloud resources and assist in integrating network resources with cloud services.
  • Monitor network performance and assist in troubleshooting issues related to network availability, speed, and security.
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers to deploy network solutions and resolve network-related problems.
  • Maintain network documentation, including configurations, architecture, and policies.
  • Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and system improvements.
  • Assist in ensuring the network infrastructure meets the needs of the organization by following industry best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide input into ongoing network improvements.

Skills/Must have:

  • Basic experience with Cisco network equipment and routing/switching technologies (e.g., understanding of VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network security concepts and basic firewall management.
  • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Aruba and Meraki wireless devices and configurations.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform and its network-related services.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for identifying network issues.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • A strong willingness to learn and grow within the field of network engineering.
