Responsibilities: 

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for network infrastructure, with a focus on Fortinet firewalls, switches, and security appliances.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network-related incidents efficiently, escalating to senior team members as needed.
• Assist with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Fortinet and Cisco devices.
• Maintain accurate records of support cases, network configurations, and procedures in accordance with MSP policies.
• Liaise with clients to gather technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure a high standard of service delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest in network security trends and Fortinet technology, with opportunities for certification and career progression within the company.

Required Skills/Qualifications: 

• 1-2 years of experience in network engineering within an IT support or MSP environment.
• Level 1 or Level 2 support experience in network troubleshooting and incident response.
• Familiarity with Fortinet or Cisco networking products, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and routing concepts.
• Proficient in diagnosing network issues and troubleshooting security devices.
• Fortinet NSE 1 or 2, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent certification preferred (or willing to obtain).

Desired Skills/Qualifications: 

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients.
• Problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Additional Fortinet NSE certification (NSE 3 or 4) or relevant Cisco certifications.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and an interest in advancing within the field of network security.

Salary: 

• $50,000 - $75,000
