Responsibilities:

• Perform a full audit of existing Juniper network infrastructure (EX, MX, SRX, QFX platforms)
• Assess network design, topology, hardware inventory, and software versions
• Review and validate JunOS configurations, routing policies, firewall filters, and security policies
• Identify risks, misconfigurations, and potential points of failure
• Analyze performance, redundancy, resilience, and security posture
• Deliver a detailed audit report with prioritized recommendations
• Provide technical advisory on network optimization, compliance, and best practices
• Support stakeholders with knowledge transfer and Q&A sessions

Requirements:

• Proven experience with enterprise Juniper environments (min. 5 years)
• Deep understanding of JunOS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPsec, and VLANs
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Previous experience conducting formal network audits
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• JNCIP or JNCIE certification
• Familiarity with network management tools (Juniper Space, SNMP, syslog)
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare)

Salary:

• £200 - £250 Per Day
