Lead Data Center Technician - Hosting

Our client, a high-growth startup building a next-generation GPU-powered compute platform and are targeting 300MW capacity by 2026, with the first 40MW site going live in January. We are looking for a Lead Data Center Technician to oversee day-to-day operations of a large-scale GPU-driven facility, as well as oversee their initial fit out and plan for future growth. The successful candidate will ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of data center systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain large-scale GPU infrastructure.
• Oversee fiber connectivity, networking, and facility operations.
• Implement monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all critical systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support scaling and deployment of compute resources.
• Ensure data center uptime, safety, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Experience managing GPU-driven systems at scale.
• Strong understanding of fiber networks, connectivity, and data center facilities.
• Ability to work in a high-growth, startup environment with full operational autonomy.
• Prior work in neocloud, hyperscale, or AI-focused environments strongly preferred.

Salary:

• $300,000 gross per year
