The team is hiring a Lead Technician to oversee and execute installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems. This role involves guiding junior technicians, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, and supporting clients with dependable, effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Access Control systems (primarily ACRE/RS2)
- Mount, wire, and aim CCTV cameras (primarily Hanwha) and associated recording equipment
- Run and terminate low voltage cabling, including Cat6 and fiber, for security and network systems
- Install and test Burglar and Fire Alarm systems; certifications like NICET or NJ Fire Alarm License are a strong plus
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper device placement and system layout
- Document installations using SightOwl or similar platforms, including uploading photos and logging work performed
- Work independently or lead small crews on-site, maintaining quality and efficiency with minimal supervision
- Travel to customer sites across the U.S. (80% travel), ensuring all installations are completed to company and industry standards
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication with clients during all phases of the project
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Access Control systems (ACRE/RS2, Mercury Boards, TSCAN)
- Proficiency with CCTV systems – installation, aiming, and configuration (Hanwha preferred; Access, Spot AI a plus)
- Skilled in low voltage cabling, including Cat6 and fiber optic cable pulling, termination, and testing
- Experience installing and maintaining Burglar and Fire Alarm systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, and system layouts
- Competency in using field documentation tools (e.g., SightOwl, mobile apps, job tracking systems)
