Linux Administrator (Automation) - Banking and Finance

You will be joining a world-renowned bank that is growing its internal infrastructure team, supporting 1200 employees and 3 DCs

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for managing Linux systems and servers using Python scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and utilities to automate routine tasks such as system provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience as a Linux Engineer or Systems Administrator with a strong focus on automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming language, with hands-on experience developing automation scripts and tools.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu) and command-line tools.
• Fluent German
