Linux System Administrator - Banking & Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, support, and improve large-scale Linux systems used in trading and research environments
• Provide operational support for high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure
• Respond to incidents, implement infrastructure updates, and carry out planned deployments
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance issues across the Linux server environment
• Develop and improve automation tools for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of large-scale server fleets

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong background in Linux systems administration in performance-sensitive environments
• Experience with automation and monitoring tools in large-scale deployments
• Deep understanding of Linux internals and OS-level concepts
• Proficiency in Python is required
• Solid understanding of networking protocols and services in Linux environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with hybrid and public cloud environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot under pressure in a dynamic environment

Salary:

• $100,000 - $200,000 + bonus
