The team is hiring a Locator (Uvalde) to identify and mark underground utilities before construction activities. The role will focus on accurate detection, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring smooth project execution while preventing costly damages or delays.

Role Responsibilities:

• Accurately identify and mark underground fiber assets to prevent excavation damage.
• Use GIS systems, test equipment, and as-built records to ensure accurate and efficient locates.
• Maintain detailed records and photos of locate work, supporting ticket completion and compliance.
• Investigate and document damages, coordinating with leadership for follow-up.

Required Skills & Experience:

• At least 1 year of utility locating experience.
• Familiarity with 811 ticketing systems and municipal locating procedures.
• Ability to read construction plans, maps, and cable schematics.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
