We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) to join an innovative and dynamic team at this leading media company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a specific focus on Cisco ACI technologies.
As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining a robust and scalable network infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our organisation. You will also work with Juniper networks.
This is a hybrid working role with 90% of your time spent working from home to give you that work-life balance.

Responsibilities:
- Cisco ACI Design and Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Cisco ACI solutions to enhance network efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into ACI designs.
- Ensure the seamless integration of ACI components with existing network infrastructure.
- Network Architecture and Engineering:
- Design, implement, and support complex network architectures based on Cisco technologies.
- Work closely with the architecture team to develop scalable and reliable network solutions.
- Provide technical expertise in the development of network-related projects.
- Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization:
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, including but not limited to routing, switching, and ACI-related problems.
- Perform regular network performance analysis and optimization to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
- Collaborate with security, server, and application teams to ensure the seamless operation of the overall IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams on network-related matters.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate network requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including design documents, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users on network-related topics.
- Keep documentation up-to-date with changes and improvements to the network environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified DevNet Professional are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco technologies and ACI.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including fabric design, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations.
- Proficiency in network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
