Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Configure and optimize network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of new technologies and applications into the network environment.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements to the network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience working as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment and software (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIS certifications preferred).
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment.
