This on site leadership role oversees daily service delivery across complex, multi tenant network environments, including infrastructure supporting the New England Telehealth Consortium.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high performing 24/7 NOC team including Tier 1 through Tier 3 technicians.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for major incidents and lead live incident bridges when required.
  • Actively participate in the on call rotation.
  • Work directly alongside engineers to troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and transport issues.
  • Ensure SLA compliance, proactive monitoring, and effective incident management.
  • Oversee staffing coverage, scheduling, and workload balancing.
  • Strengthen documentation, escalation paths, and change management processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Project teams to ensure stable deployments and operational readiness.
  • Deliver reporting on network performance, incidents, and KPIs.


Requirements:

  • Seven or more years of experience in network operations or infrastructure environments.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring teams- preferably in a 24/7 environment.
  • Strong routing and switching knowledge including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN, and VRF.
  • Experience with monitoring platforms such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or LogicMonitor.
  • A hands on leadership style with strong troubleshooting depth.
  • Preferred qualifications include CCNP or JNCIP certification, managed services or service provider experience, healthcare or federally supported network experience, and familiarity with SD WAN platforms.
