We are looking for a highly experienced Network Security Architect to join a Cisco Gold and Fortinet Expert partner for a major network security upgrade and installation project in the aerospace sector. This is a unique opportunity to shape the security architecture of a cutting-edge network infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing security solutions, ensuring robust protection across the entire network environment. 

This position is based in Toulouse, with an on-site requirement of three days a week.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of secure network solutions, aligning with the strategic needs of the business.
  • Develop and implement network security architectures using next-generation technologies such as FortiGate and Palo Alto.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of network design and delivery.
  • Conduct security assessments and risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in the execution of firewall implementation and upgrade projects.
  • Oversee the documentation of security architecture designs, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistency and adherence to best practices.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats and security trends, and recommend enhancements to the security architecture to mitigate risks.

Skills & Expereince:

  • Extensive experience in network security architecture and design, with proven ability to create secure, scalable network solutions.
  • Deep expertise in next-generation firewalls, specifically FortiGate and Palo Alto.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement remediation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working on firewall implementation and upgrade projects in large-scale environments.
  • Ability to work in on-site environments (Toulouse, three days per week) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
