Network Security Consultant - IT Solution Provider

Join our client as a Network Security Consultant and play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the network and security landscape for their valued clients.

This is a contact position for a duration of 6/12 months rolling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support to clients by performing advanced technical analysis and implementations on network equipment from multiple vendors/technologies.
• Rotate in client projects requiring network support, ensuring seamless integration and optimization.
• Participate in the maintenance of various network components including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, thoroughly investigating issues and proposing effective solutions.
• Take proactive measures during high-priority situations and outages to ensure swift resolution.
• Prepare accurate documentation, instructions, and procedures, keeping them up to date for reference.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize tools and propose improvement strategies.
• Strive for customer satisfaction through close cooperation and effective communication with colleagues.
• Provide 24-hour assistance in a rotation system, ensuring continuous support and availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Cisco certifications preferred 
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Switching, Routing, Firewalling, VPN, Load balancing, and Virtualization.
• Familiarity and working experience with networking equipment from various vendors such as Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Data Centre switching.
• Strong teamwork and customer-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative to find optimal solutions.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering quality results.

 Day Rate: 

• €400 - €450 per day

• Hybrid – Antwerpen, Gent, Hasselt, Leuven
