Currently working on critical infrastructure projects across Germany, they are now looking for a Network Security Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
- Configure, deploy, and manage enterprise firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Support secure network infrastructure, including Layer 2/3 switches and routers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues (ACLs, VPNs, NAT, IPS/IDS).
- Assist with network hardening, documentation, and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with project teams to implement secure, reliable network solutions.
- Occasionally, travel to client sites within Germany to support installations or upgrades.
Skills/Must have:
- Experience working in a network/security engineering role.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
- Hands-on experience with at least one major firewall platform (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and network segmentation best practices.
- Good troubleshooting skills and a proactive, security-focused mindset.
- Fluent in German.
- Willingness to travel as part of project-based work.
