Network Support Engineer - MSP

A growing Managed Services Provider based in Murrarie, QLD is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer L2 with a strong networking focus to join their expanding team.

This organisation has evolved from a telecommunications partner into a full-service MSP delivering Networking, Security, Infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across Queensland.

With a close-knit technical team and strong vendor partnerships including Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft and Telstra, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure across diverse customer environments and projects.

This position is heavily networking-focused and project-driven. The successful candidate will work across implementation, support and optimisation of customer environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and assist with networking projects across customer sites
• Configure and support Cisco networking environments
• Support and manage Fortinet solutions
• Assist across Microsoft 365 environments when required
• Provide Level 2 technical escalation and troubleshooting
• Work closely with internal engineers and customers

Skills & Experience: 

• 5 plus years experience in IT Support or MSP environments
• Strong hands on experience with Cisco networking
• Experience with the Fortinet suite.
• Experience working on project based support
• Strong customer communication skills
