Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain the customer organization's systems infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless, servers, storage, virtualization, backups, VoiP phone systems and cloud-based solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending system upgrades or enhancements as needed.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, assisting with system-related issues and inquiries.
• Document system configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps and client interactions in the ConnectWise ticketing system.

Skills/Must have:

• Proven experience as a Network/Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of systems infrastructure, including firewalls, servers, storage, virtualization, VoIP phone systems and cloud technologies. Preferred experience in the following:
• Fortigate Firewalls
• Cisco, Extreme, Aruba & Ruckus switches
• Cisco, Extreme, Aruba & Ruckus wireless
• HP & Dell servers
• Microsoft Windows Server OS
• VMware & HyperV virtualization
• 3CX VoIP phone system
• Google Workspace & Microsoft M365
