Network Technician x2 - Internet Service Provider

We are partnered with this established Internet Service Provider based in Fresno, California. As they continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Network Technician to join their team and contribute to their mission of providing exceptional service to our customers.

As a Network Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our client's network environment. Your responsibilities will include traveling to various locations, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading networking hardware and equipment to uphold network performance standards. Proficiency in Cisco routing and switching is essential, along with exemplary customer service skills. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the networking field, adapt to evolving IT landscapes, and contribute positively to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to client sites to install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade networking hardware and equipment.
• Ensure network performance and reliability through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to address network issues and implement solutions.
• Continuously expand knowledge and skills in networking technologies and adapt to industry changes.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field (e.g., technical support, installation, maintenance).
• Working knowledge of IP, Ethernet, Cisco, and Adva Optical Networking.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Valid local State Driver’s License and clean driving record.
