OSP Technician x3 - Telecommunications

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and cabling systems, to ensure the smooth operation of the data center.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving network and system issues. Conduct preventive maintenance and monitor network performance to enhance efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and engineering teams, providing technical support and collaborating on innovative solutions that support data center operations.
• FTTH Project: Be hands-on in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) projects, with significant room for growth. Learn or apply basic splicing skills and handle fiber optics as part of the installation process.
• Working at Heights: Use bucket trucks or climb to manage cable installation.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of telecommunications experience, preferably within OSP.
• Experience with splicing, pulling cables, OSP construction, running wire, bucket truck operation, and climbing.
• Basic understanding of fiber optics and copper cabling.
• Desire to learn or improve basic splicing skills.
