The team is hiring a Penetration Tester to perform security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance defence strategies. The role will focus on simulating real-world attack scenarios, supporting compliance requirements, and collaborating with security teams to deliver robust protection.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the scoping, execution and delivery of CHECK penetration testing engagements across infrastructure, applications and cloud.
  • Mentor and support junior penetration testers, ensuring consistent delivery quality and professional growth.
  • Produce detailed, high-quality reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of internal methodologies, tooling, and offensive security research.
  • Support red-team and adversary emulation exercises where required.


Skills/Must have:

  • Current CHECK Team Leader certification (Cyber Scheme Team Leader – INF or CREST CCT-INF).
  • At least 2 years’ experience delivering CHECK engagements and 3+ years of professional penetration testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, Active Directory, web and cloud testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Impacket and SMBClient.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to enhance testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable advice.
