Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the conception, introduction, and continuous optimisation of new products, ensuring their availability throughout the entire product life cycle
- Serve as Product Owner for air traffic control applications
- Develop detailed concepts and propose comprehensive solution options for complex technical challenges
- Plan and execute tests and simulations
- Independently manage and coordinate complex tasks in collaboration with manufacturers and internal stakeholders
- Lead projects and cross-functional working groups
- Provide expert consulting to internal departments and external clients, with a strong focus on cost-efficiency, safety, and quality
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Completed diploma or master’s degree in a technical or scientific discipline (e.g. computer science, industrial engineering, communications engineering), along with several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong expertise in modern information and communication technologies, particularly service-oriented architecture (SOA), virtualization, and IP networks
- Ideally, experience with modern software architectures, including the use of message brokers or message-oriented middleware
- Solid project management skills
- Broad understanding of business administration, quality assurance, and configuration management
- Proficient in planning techniques, with strong MS Office and SAP skills
- Fluent in English
