The team is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to join its growing delivery unit. This role plays a critical part in designing and implementing technical solutions that support complex, high-profile live events and media infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-staging and configuration of networking and broadcast equipment
  • Support both event-based and permanent services
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to technically lead on deployments
  • Maintain and manage stock levels and warehouse equipment
  • Build systems: rack, stack, cable, power, and configure equipment
  • Perform basic maintenance on network infrastructure
  • Be part of a team working on broadcast IP transformation projects


Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IP networking (Layer 2 essential, some Layer 3 understanding)
  • Familiarity with IP addressing, routing fundamentals, and the OSI model
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on technical environment - Racking, stacking and building technologies
  • Interest in broadcast, media, or live events industry
  • Basic cable making skills (manual dexterity)
  • Nimbra, encoding/decoding or IP video transport tech
  • Awareness of broadcast environments or contribution networks
  • Started (or completed) CCNA
  • Understanding of fibre infrastructure
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies
