Responsibilities:
- Define operational specifications for secure satellite services in collaboration with technical stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal operations, IT security, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with secure operations frameworks
- Draft and review high-quality technical and procedural documentation
- Ensure integration of operational and security best practices into new infrastructure designs
- Liaise with engineering teams for the development, testing, and implementation of operational systems
- Represent the company in key customer and vendor engagements
- Support procurement and vendor negotiation activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the quality and environment management system
- Provide occasional on-call support during operational escalations
Skills / Must Have:
- 10+ years of experience in satellite telecommunications or secure communications projects
- Strong project management background with a track record in complex systems implementation
- Solid understanding of satellite ground segment operations and RF systems
- Experience working with secure government or institutional environments
- Knowledge of operational tools (e.g. monitoring, control systems) and IT integration
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- NATO or EU Secret Clearance is mandatory
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience supporting 24/7 secure satellite operations
- Familiarity with security zoning, facility clearance, and compliance frameworks
- Exposure to mission planning, asset management, and satellite flight dynamics
- Strong stakeholder engagement within governmental or institutional contexts
