Responsibilities:
- Installing, programming, and maintaining two-way radio systems
- Vehicle-based radio installations
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and maintenance visits at customer sites
- Supporting and maintaining radio infrastructure equipment
- Working closely with customers on-site to resolve issues
- Assisting with system upgrades and improvements
- Work site-based with UK client travel
Required Experience:
- Candidates with around 75% of the below are encouraged to apply:
- Hands-on radio engineering experience
- Experience with Motorola and/or Hytera systems
- Installation and maintenance of radios in vehicles
Preferred Experience:
- Motorola CAP, Max, or Tier 3 experience
- Training & Development:
- Full on-the-job training provided
- Manufacturer-led training courses
- Hands-on mentoring from a senior engineer during onboarding
- Clear opportunity to grow technical capability over time
- Certifications: IPAF, PASMA, Safety Passport, MOTORBO
Technology Environment:
- Two-way radio systems (primarily Motorola / Hytera)
- Promotively Radio platforms
- Some exposure to IT and networking environments
Interview Process:
- First stage: Online interview
- Second stage: On-site interview (background, skillset, and potentially a short technical discussion/test)
