We are partnered with a leading cybersecurity solutions provider specialising in advanced threat detection, SOC automation, MDR/XDR, and AI-powered incident response technologies. Their solutions empower enterprises to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats through intelligent analytics, automation, and actionable threat intelligence.

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Sales Director (ANZ) to lead their business growth across Australia and New Zealand. This is a hands-on hunter-leadership role focused on expanding our enterprise footprint and driving new customer acquisition. The successful candidate will combine strategic account leadership with deep cybersecurity solution-selling expertise to establish our client as a trusted partner in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new enterprise opportunities across the ANZ market.
  • Develop and execute a regional go-to-market strategy that aligns with global sales objectives.
  • Position cybersecurity portfolio (MDR/XDR, SOC automation, Threat Intelligence, Attack Surface Management, and related solutions) to C-suite and senior IT security stakeholders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting, solution presentation, and commercial negotiation to closure.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key enterprise clients, partners, and resellers.
  • Collaborate closely with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure consistent customer experience and technical alignment.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence to regional and global leadership.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, cybersecurity conferences, and executive-level engagements across ANZ.

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity solution sales across ANZ.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multimillion-dollar sales targets.
  • Strong hunter mindset with demonstrated success in building new logos and expanding existing accounts.
  • Excellent understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including threat detection, SOC/MDR, EDR/XDR, or network security solutions.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to non-technical executives.
  • Self-motivated, strategic, and capable of working autonomously in a remote setup.
  • Existing network with enterprise CISOs, CIOs, or senior security leaders across financial services, government, and large corporates is highly advantageous.
  • Based in Melbourne (preferred) or other major ANZ hub.
