Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within target markets.
  • Build and manage a healthy, well-structured sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Generate leads through outbound outreach, networking, industry events, and collaboration with marketing.
  • Conduct client discovery sessions to understand business challenges and align them with our cybersecurity solutions.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals that articulate the value of managed security services (e.g., SOC, SIEM, MDR, vulnerability management, compliance solutions).
  • Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., pre-sales engineers, solution architects) to tailor offerings to client needs.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients to support renewals, upsell opportunities, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, threat landscapes, and competitive positioning to effectively sell in a consultative manner.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity, track progress in CRM systems, and report on performance metrics.

Skills/Must have:

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Proficiency in building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Ability to generate leads, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with technology solutions relevant to the industry.  
  • Understanding of the company’s products/services and the target market.
  • Awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently

Salary:

  • Market: SMB AE
  • Base Salary: $60K-$75K
  • Variable: $45K-$75K
  • Total OTE: $105K-$150K
  • Quota Range: $600K-$1M ARR
  • OTE/Quota Ratio: 10-15%
  • Commission Rate: 10% base, 15% accel
  • Equity Range: 0.05%-0.10%
  • Market: Mid-Market AE
  • Base Salary: $75K-$90K
  • Variable: $75K-$100K
  • Total OTE: $150K-$190K
  • Quota Range: $1M-$2M ARR
  • OTE/Quota Ratio: 10-15%
  • Commission Rate: 10% base, 15% accel
